Artist Statement
Exploration and home are at the foundation of my practice. My work reflects a love of being outdoors; the vast majority of my artworks are either inspired by simple iPhone photographs that took while walking around my community, or were painted from direct observation. Particularly, I am drawn to seemingly mundane locations in which natural and human-made light evoke feelings of effortless beauty and timelessness.
